Winston County Road 9 Widening, Resurfacing and Adding of a Third Lane

COOPERATIVE DISTRICT РWidening, resurfacing, and the addition of a third lane for turning onto Alabama Highway 13 has been completed on to Winston County County Road 9.  This road work was in part made possible through a $125,000 grant secured by Senator Roger Bedford through the Alabama Department of Community and Economic Affirs (ADECA).  The remainder of the project was funded through a portion of the Cooperative District bond issue secured in June 2008.

Construction continues on Lots 10 and 11 of the Winston County industrial park located within the Cooperative District.    Plans are underway to secure a grant to fund landscaping and beautification work at the intersection of Winston County County Road 9 and Alabama Highway 13.
